Round 3
Player 1 plays a peasant card to supply 1 crop to player 3's shop. Not only does this earn her 2 crop from the
farm (thanks to player 4's church) but
it also lets her pay 1 farm to expand her crop farm, earning her another 1 crop thanks her castle.
This time she decides not to place another castle and keeps the 2 crop.
Player 2 sees that there are now crop and wood in the city and decides to play
a burgher card to take a timber ship.
Player 3 is running short of resources but decides to gamble and play her third burgher card to place her third
shop, an ore shop. Player 4 earned a crop for her church and now has plenty of timber resources but given the
competition from player 2's timber ship, she decides to
gamble as well by playing a burgher card to take an iron ship.

Round 4
Player 1 plays a burgher card to take a textile ship. Player 2 plays a burgher card to send her timber to the city,
buy player 3's crop and wood, and exchange them for 1 timber. Player 2 chooses to flip her ship to its
Timber/Textile side and player 3 invests both resources in expanding her shops.
Player 3 decides to add a Nobility card to her tableau and uses it to collect 1 ore to the Resource Market and
1 ore to herself. Player 4 had hoped to earn some
ore from her province but since nobody has placed any farm there yet, she decides to exchange 1 crop (value 2)
for 1 ore (value 2) and use it with a peasant card to place an ore farm. At least she gets the ore back, since it's her province.

Iron Ship
Round 5
Player 1 would like to send her textile ship to the city but with no resources there,
she decides to play a burgher card on one of her peasant cards to first supply 2 crop to player 3's shops and use the
1 crop for player 4's church to place a 3rd farm. This farm is placed in player 1's own province,
earning her another 1 crop. Player 4 decides to use her crop to place a church in player 1's province.
Then player 1 pays 1 ore to place an ore shop to compete with player 3's ore shop.
Player 2 wants more wood in the city for her ship so she plays a clergy card on a peasant card to
supply 2 wood to player 3's shops and use the 1 wood for player 4's church to place a 3rd farm in
player 4's province. This earns player 4 1 wood for the church and another 1 wood for the castle and
she decides to keep both. Then player 2 pays 1 ore to place a church in player 4's province.
Player 3 is happy to see so many resources in her shops and think the time is ripe for a ship.
She plays a noble card on a burgher card to add another 1 ore to the Resource Market and herself.
Then she takes an iron ship.
Player 4 suddenly finds herself with several resources but proceeds with her plan to play a peasant card on
burgher card to supply ore to the city. She supplies 1 ore to the city and uses the ore from player 2's church
to place a 2nd farm in her own province. Then she pays 1 wood and 1 ore for her ship to demand the same from
player 3's and player 1's shops, exchanges them for 1 iron and flips her ship to its Iron/Timber side. Player 1 uses
her ore to place a new shop while player 3 decides to
keep her wood to be able to use it for her ship next turn.

Round 6
Player 1 realizes that she has to diversify her income so she plays a peasant card on a peasant card. First,
she exchanges 2 crop for 1 ore on the Resource Market. Then she uses the ore to place an ore farm in her own
province, earning her back the ore. Finally, she supplies 1 ore to her own shop and uses the ore from
player 4's shop to place a new ore farm in her province, earning her yet another ore, which she uses to place a
new ore province.
Player 2 would like to see an advanced province in the game but has not played any noble card yet and is thus
unable to take the necessary advanced noble action. Instead, she plays a burgher card to take a ship action.
First, she exchanges her timber for 3 crop and 1 ore. Then she demands 2 crop and 1 wood from
player 3's shops and 1 ore from player 1's shop. This gives her 1 timber and 1 textile and lets her take an Economy
mission. Player 1 decides to use her ore to place a new shop while player 3
has other plans and keep her 2 crop and 1 wood.
Player 3 plays a burgher card to flip one of her wood shops to a timber shop. To get the timber, she
first exchanges 1 crop, 1 ore and 1 wood for 1 timber.
Player 4 thinks the time is ripe for an advanced province and takes the first advanced action of the game
by playing a noble card on a noble card and pay 1 iron to place an iron province.

Iron/Timber Ship
Round 7
Player 1 finally sees an opportunity to get resources for her ship. She plays a peasant card on a
burgher card to first supply 2 ore to the city plus 1 ore for player 4's church. She uses 1 ore to
place an ore farm in her own province. Then she uses her ship to demand 1 ore from her own shop (and place a new shop) and
(paying 2 crop) 1 crop from the Resource Market. This gives her 1 textile and flips her ship to the Textile/Timber side.
Player 4 has no need for another ore and uses it to place a church in player 1's province.
Player 2 would like to fulfil her mission but has to wait until there are more resources in the city so
she plays a peasant card on a burgher card to collect a ship and supply wood. Thanks to her 3 farms and her own and player 4's churches,
she can supply both player 3's shops and the 3rd and 5th wood to the Resource Market (the 4th is lost). She uses 1 of the wood to
place a new wood farm in player 1's province. Player 1, 2 and 4 thus earn 1 extra wood for their buildings.
This gives player 3 an opportunity to play a burgher card on a burgher card to first let her ship demand 1 ore
from player 1's shop and 1 wood from her own shop.
This earns her 1 iron and let her flip her ship to the Iron/Timber side. The she pays the iron to flip her ore
shop to an iron shop.
Player 4 had hoped for some actions in her advanced province but comes up with another idea. She plays a burgher card
on her peasant and burgher card to take three actions. First, she demands the remaining ore and wood in the city from
player 3' shops (of which player 3 decides to keep the ore but place a new wood shop). Then she
supplies 3 iron thanks to player 2's church and uses 1 of them to expand into player 1's province. Then she exchanges 1 ore
for 1 crop to be able to send her ship a second time to the city and demand 1 ore from player 1's shop and (paying 2 crop)
1 crop from the Resource Market. This earns her 1 iron and 1 timber and lets her take a mission card.
