Seasons are a changing. Spring is followed by Summer, Summer by Fall and Fall by Winter as years are added to each other. But changes do not please you. As Lord of a Season, you want your own season to prevail. With your powers, you can not only prolong your season but also turn the time to shorten the other seasons. Yes, you can even turn the time backwards, putting all seasons upside down. But beware, the other Lords of the Seasons will not idly watch your doings. The struggle has begun and the seasonal changes will never be the same again.
In Turn of Times, the players represent Lords of the Seasons. Carefully, they approach the world and spread their seasons. Initially, the seasons are balanced and follow upon each other. However, the time is not enough for all seasons and they will have to manipulate time to hasten their own seasons. The world is thrown into a turmoil that will not end until the entire world shares the same season.
Turn of Times is a simple and yet tactically deep game where players take turns to place their seasons in the world. Initially, the seasons are in balance with Spring followed by Summer, Summer by Fall and Fall by Winter as time goes by. However, the players may also literally turn the time to their advantage by turning the game board parts so that later seasons replace earlier until their own season dominates the world. But time is not meddled with without danger. As your season enters one part, other seasons may enter other parts with unpredicted results. And if the the time is turned back in the entire world, not even the Lords of the Seasons may predict what happens. Will the world have eternal summer or eternal winter?
