Home Game Rules Theme Strategy FAQ

Welcome to the city of Dyce - home of the finest blended whisky of the Highlands! Whisky barons flood the streets to trade the highly regarded uisge-beatha or water of life.

The dream of your own distillery has led you here as well but you must start small. Buy grain and malt whiskies, blend them to bring out their best qualities, and sell them to become the next Whisky Baron of Scotland.

Dyce puts the players in the roles of whisky traders. The players take turns to place shops and trade whiskies in order to blend finer and finer whiskies. Their trading partners are the whisky barons and their dice determine both which whiskies they are currently looking to trade and which prices they are willing to buy or sell for. The better the players place their shops and blend their whiskies, the more pounds they will earn and eventually become whisky barons themselves.

Dyce was awarded the Excellence Award in the World Original Design Contest of Board Game 2018 and the Hippodice Competition 2019 (both under the Chinese theme Hangzhou).

Combining my game experience with my history interest and IT and quality profession, I have entered the exciting world of board game design and production.
