How does this game differ from the rest of the Nova Suecia games?

Suecia is the first game about the Swedish Empire since the six first games Nova Suecia, Bellum se ipsum alet, Christina Regina, Vasa Regalis, Tre Kronor Infernum and Mare Balticum. This time, resource conversion is the key mechanic, where resources must be converted into victory points through many different infrastructure steps, often owned by different players.
