Annotated Games: Version 1.0, 4 players

This game was played during game testing of version 1.0 of Iconoclasm the Cardgame. The front of the played cards are symbolized by colored squares with a colored dot inside indicating the back.

A standard start. Fire, Earth and Water all play to flip an element in their favor. Air, not having any element available to flip to Air, chooses to play her double Air.

Fire's latest element was a mistake as it allowed Earth to flip back her element and "lock" it. It's now surrounded and cannot flip again.

Water formed a group of 3 elements on the right but Air was quick to flip 1 of them to Air. She also sets herself up for playing a Fire next to the 2 Earth/Air and flip them both to Air.

Water formed a group of 3 elements on the right but Air was quick to flip 1 of them to Air. She also sets herself up for playing a Fire next to the 2 Earth/Air and flip them both to Air.

With the "grid height" of 4 elements completed, Fire takes the opportunity to to complete the "grid width" as well and lock a 2 Fires at the bottom row. None of them can be flipped now. However, this also allowed Earth to flip and lock the Water/Earth element. Now nothing remains of Water's proud 3 elements group.

Fire does what she can to end her last turn with 5 elements but will it be enough? Earth also gets a 5th element and all her elements are adjacent, giving her the victory in a tie with Fire. Can the other elements counter?

Neither Water, nor Air, can get more than 4 elements each. Air gets 3 of her elements connected, breaking the tie with Water in her favor, but the victory goes to Earth with 5 elements.
