This game was played during the game testing of Find the Treasure - The Card Game!
Player 1 went for an early placement of the pirate flag to be able to set up a path, player 2 tried
to take advantage of the other players' placements and player 3 decided late where to place the pirate
flag to be able to start the treasure phase first.
The cards are represented by colors (blue=swamp, brown=fortress, gray=mountain, green=jungle,
red=totem, yellow=desert) and numbers (1=topas, 2=ruby, 3=diamond). Cards played as clue cards are
marked with a border.

Player 1 places her pirate marker immediately, planning to place a yellow card as a map card 3 cards away
and keep the yellow 3-card. Player 2 places a
gray card in the opposite corner, hoping to pick it up with her other gray card following Player 1's move.
Player 3 awaits what the map will end up like and play a low value card (a brown 1-card).

Player 1 places her 1st clue card: the yellow 3-card. Player 2 places her pirate marker where it will enable her to reach the brown 1-card
with the white 2-card (which she hopes to pick up early in the treasure phase). Player 3 takes the opportunity to place her pirate marker,
knowing that she'll go first, in a position where she can use her blue 3-card.

Player 1 and 2 are happy with their placements and just place their remaining cards (red 1 and blue 2) where they don't expect them to
be of any use for the other players. Player 3 finds no good use for her remaining cards and decide to place the more flexible yellow
2-card as a clue.

Player 3 finds herself unable to pick up a treasure so she moves to the red 1-card to be able to pick
up a diamond with her blue 1-card next. Player plays
her white 3-card to pick up a diamond as planned. Player 1 sneaks in and interrupts player 3's plan by
playing a green 2-card and pick up a ruby.

Player 3 finds another way to pick up a diamond by playing a red 1-card. This gives player 2 an
opportunity to pick up a topas by playing a brown 1-card. Player 1 would like to play her green 2-card to pick up a
diamond but since there are none left, she plays a yellow 1-card and picks up a topas instead.

Again, player 3 finds herself without moves and moves to the red 2-card to be able to pick up a topas
with her blue 1-card next movement. However, this paves the way for player 2, who picks up a ruby by playing a
brown 2-card. This leaves player 1 completely blocked without even an option to get rid of her soon
useless 2-card and hence she passes.

Player 3 manages to pick up a topas as planned by playing her blue 1-card.
It's now player 2's turn to be out of options but by playing a white 2-card, she's able to pick up
a brown 1-card that may give her a topas next movement. Player 1 is also out of options and decides to
play her green 3-card to pick up a blue 1-card, which gives her a 1-card and a 2-card to choose between
next movement.

Player 3 plays her red 2-card to pick up the last ruby. This also denies player 2 the ability to play her brown 1-card
and pick up a topas. She plays it anyway to pick up a yellow 1-card but will she have time to play it?
Player 1 is out of contest but tries to improve her score by playing a blue 1-card to pick up a white
1-card.
Unfortunately it's too late, since player is unable to pick up a treasure next movement and with 3
consecutive actions without finding treasures, the last treasure is discarded and the game ends. Player 2 and 3 both found 4 treasures
each but player 3's tie-breaking score is 9 against player 2's score of 8.
